Nickerson
reflects on Minister of National Defence, Harjit
Sajjan should quit politics. Consider the
recent announcement to amend Canada's
National Defence Act. If passed, Bill C-77 will
attempt
to bring the military judicial
system from something Admiral Nelson would
recognize to that of
a modern day nation. Amongst other changes, the
amendments would see the introduction of a bill
of rights for victims (reflecting recent
legislation for civilian courts), the
establishment of special
liaison officers to help military
personnel, family members and civilians find
their way through the system.
